Grrrr! It's me finally!

Hello, I have always gotten a lot of suggestions to write a blog or a book. I have finally caved and just decided to do it!
I'll talk about how my husband and I embody the City Girl/Country Boy combo later.
For now since this is my first post I want to talk about what is on my mind today.
The local schools have started back today. We have six children. One in college, one in high school and four elementary age younger ones!
Today is the day that I thought I would have anticipated and waited on for what seems like eon's!
This year is the year when our youngest would have started public school.
I should have been sitting down a couple of hours ago toasting a couple of mimosa's to having a quiet lonely house to myself for once in a long time! I would have taken a nap too!
But hearts change...I am homeschooling the youngest four. I have to admit I grinned to myself for my master homeschooling plan while I was scrolling my facebook newsfeed this morning. Looking at all the first day of school pics while sitting here comfortable in my silk pajama's!
Que the Austin Powers Dr Evil pinky near corner of mouth smug look! My four youngest kids were still at the breakfast table finishing their french toast.
This is my first year to home school. This came after three years of thinking about it and working up the nerve to do it and trying not to worry that I'll screw something or somebody up!
Home school families are not slackers! I am fully understanding it's a serious thing to take on, but I plan to have a lot of fun with it!
I am nervous but looking forward to every moment of it!
I'm planning to talk a little bit about everything on this blog! Most popular are my children's antics! They say some of the funniest things.
Our only daughter is the youngest. She is four years old.
One of my boys just turned seventeen the other day and she was so impressed with his birthday cake. It had white icing and oreo's on it and she exclaimed how pretty it was. By the way I didn't bake it. We got it at a local grocery store. But she was so taken with it she said, "Oh momma when I get married I want you to get me a pretty cake with cookies on it and I want you to make my dress for me too".
How funny that she is four and these things dwell on her mind. She's plotting out that wedding already!
Lord help us....Lord help us!
Remind me later and I'll share a post about when she told the check out lady at Walmart that I didn't change my panties. It's not what you think...but Lord a mercy she is full of it!!!
Oh, and yes her dress someday will rival a Vera Wang! I got my work cut out for me!
My life is full of love and laughter and stinky boys and a pretty princess and I love my husband!
I'm outspoken and a very loyal friend. Nobody's life is perfect but when I look at mine I'm very happy with it!
This is not some big fancy roar "look at me I have a blog now" intro post...more like a little grrr!  So yeah, Hello and stuff and thanks for reading....hustle your butt back here to visit any time and join the fun!
